Villa Bracali sits on a hill in Tuscany. It has great potential for being a great calm retreat. They even specify on their web page that they are an "ideal place to free the mind of chaos and everyday life". This might be true, but they can't both claim that, and host loud parties with thumping music in the garden. We expected a few days of winding down, but that was ruined by a party booking in the garden. Overall this feels more like a normal hotel than the tuscan agritourism. Service is pleasant, but perhaps a bit relaxed. The food we had was really good, and we recommend to take the daily menu for the best experience. A fine hotel experience, but not as calm as we expected from the web site.

Our host reserved the place for the two of us outside at 7pm (with possibility of sitting inside if the weather was bad). We came at 7:10 pm, said we have reservation. Lady first said that she doesn’t speak english, then we tried to explain in italian and her reaction was that we cannot have reservation at 7, but at 7:30. In the meantime other girl came who understood english. We told her the same, show the message from our host and after that she sitted us inside. The terazze had a lot of sitting outside, all were all set up and empty and we asked if we could sit outside as planned. Then the first lady from beginning said it’s not possible. So we got sitted inside, we got menus and water we ordered. After waiting for 15 minutes nobody came to serve us further so we left. All in all, really disspoainting experince.

I was there for a wedding dinner. Nice place, the view is wonderful, on the top of a hill, but the road to get there is not very good. The food was not very excellent and the service was a bit disorganized. All things considered, it was a nice stay.

As I like.You will enjoy a splendid view of the terrace while enjoying an Italian dish.the team is great and friendly.I spent several weeks for work and I was never disappointed.I recommend the pool during hot weather enjoying a local beer

Today we were in Pistoia and at lunch time we looked for a good farmhouse to have lunch in the surrounding area. By pure chance and thanks to Google we discovered this wonderful place. After contacting the restaurant we found a free table and after 15 minutes we were there. Fantastic location, surrounded by greenery; we noticed a swimming pool and an event room. Large outdoor parking. Helpful staff, attentive to welcoming customers and ready to provide directions and advice on places to visit. The menu was varied and typical of Tuscan cuisine. We ordered a central appetizer (the Gran Tagliere X2, but 3-4 people can eat well there) and two first courses; water, red wine and coffee. Well cooked and quality food. The wine (Montecarlo) exquisite. The two of us spent around €66. We were delighted and will definitely return.

We organized a company lunch and frankly, as last year confirming good consistency over time, it was a huge success. Truly excellent food, varied, plentiful, with some highlights such as the maltagliati with white ragù that are truly of a high standard. Amazing value for money. In my opinion one of the 5 - 6 best places in the area to taste our flavours. Well done. P.s. I gave the rooms a 5 so as not to ruin the average, but I didn't actually see them
